Our annual point-in-time count (PITC) enables local agencies to plan their services for homeless persons.The PITC estimates the number of homeless people, both on the street and in shelters, throughout the entire San Diego region. As part of the count, a demographic survey is administered which helps assess the population at the time of the count.
