SUMMARY:Clarity/HMIS New User Training – 01/09/2020
DESCRIPTION:This training session will cover the basics of using the new HMIS software\, Clarity\, including: \n\nBasic navigation\nCreating clients\nAdding clients into a household\nEnrolling a household into a program\nAdding a status assessment and service to your enrolled household\nExiting a household from a program\nAdditional features\, including notes\, public alerts\, client files and using the client location feature\n\nAll users are required to attend a new user training session in order to be granted a Clarity user license. Completing this training will qualify you for access to a user license. \nIn addition to this in-person training\, you are also required to take the following two (2) mandatory Focused HMIS Trainings – please visit the website here to access these trainings: \n1) Data Standards Updates; and \n2) HMIS Privacy and Security Essentials. \nYou must complete both of these trainings in full to satisfy this requirement. Please email support@rtfhsd.org if you need assistance. \nPlease also note: This training does not include content on the CES process\, nor does completing this training qualify you to access CES in Clarity. Additional training is required to be granted CES access (see the Events Calendar for CES training sessions). \nREGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS \nPlease note that use of a laptop computer is REQUIRED in order to complete this training. Most of the training session involves completion of a data entry workflow in the Clarity Training site\, so it is essential to have a computer for this portion. \nRTFH has a limited supply of laptop computers to make available to trainees. We encourage all users who have access to a laptop computer to bring one in order to free up computers for those who most need one. \nThere are two registration options below – (1) for those who can bring their own laptop with them\, entitled “Training Registration – LAPTOP NOT INCLUDED” and (2) for those who need to reserve a laptop computer (entitled “Training Registration – INCLUDES RESERVATION OF RTFH LAPTOP”). Please click on the link that corresponds to your computer needs and register using the correct form. You only need to register for one option. \n\nTraining Registration – LAPTOP NOT INCLUDED\n\n\nTraining Registration – INCLUDES RESERVATION OF RTFH LAPTOP\n\nPARKING INFORMATION: \nThere is designated parking for United Way visitors in the front of the building\, and around the left side and rear of the building (other than reserved spaces)\, as well as street/curbside parking. Please do not park in the neighboring All State building’s parking lot (address 4669 Murphy Canyon Rd). Carpooling is highly encouraged. \nPlease note: \nFor users who are attending the CES training that occurs after this training\, there will be a 45 minute break between the training sessions. There are several options to purchase food near the United Way building\, and some commissary food and drink options are available to purchase from United Way reception. SUMMARY:CES Training: Clarity Workflow - 01/09/2020
DESCRIPTION:This “Coordinated Entry System (CES) Workflow in Clarity” in-person training session is hosted by the RTFH CES team. It is strongly suggested that attendees bring a laptop to follow along\, but is not required. \nCES access is required for staff who enter client information\, as well as those accepting referrals.
