SUMMARY:Clarity/HMIS New User Training – 8/07
DESCRIPTION:This training session will cover the basics of using the new HMIS software\, Clarity\, including: \n\n\n\nBasic navigation\nCreating clients\nAdding clients into a household\nEnrolling a household into a program\n\n\n\n\nAdding a status assessment and service to your enrolled household\nExiting a household from a program\nAdditional features\, including notes\, public alerts\, client files and using the client location feature\n\nAll users are required to attend a new user training session in order to be granted a Clarity user license. Completing this training will qualify you for access to a user license. \nThis training does not include content on the CES process\, nor does completing it qualify you for access to CES in Clarity. Additional training is required to be granted CES access (see the Events Calendar for CES training sessions). \nREGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS\nPlease note that use of a laptop computer is REQUIRED in order to complete this training. Most of the training session involves completion of a data entry workflow in the Clarity Training site\, so it is essential to have a computer for this portion. \nRTFH has a limited supply of laptop computers to make available to trainees. We encourage all users who have access to a laptop computer to bring one in order to free up computers for those who most need one. \nThere are two registration options below – (1) for those who can bring their own laptop with them\, entitled “Training Registration – LAPTOP NOT INCLUDED” and (2) for those who need to reserve a laptop computer (entitled “Training Registration – INCLUDES RESERVATION OF RTFH LAPTOP”). Please click on the link that corresponds to your computer needs and register using the correct form. SUMMARY:HMIS Privacy and Security Essentials
DESCRIPTION:This focused HMIS training session will be delivered via webinar and is intended for all HMIS/Clarity users as well as agency leadership\, especially staff who play HMIS roles (such as HMIS Agency Administrator\, HMIS Backup Agency Administrator and HMIS Security Officer). \n \nThis session covers topics that are essential for all Clarity users to understand in order to meet privacy and security requirements for working with HMIS data. All current Clarity users are required to complete the following training components by 10/21/2019 in order to retain an active Clarity user license: \n\nAttend the HMIS Privacy and Security Essentials webinar (either by attending live on 8/22/19 or by viewing the recording afterwards).\nPass a short online quiz on content covered during the webinar. The quiz will be made available via email and on the RTFH website after the webinar concludes.\n\nAny users who do not complete both of these steps by 10/21/2019 will be inactivated in Clarity until these components are completed. \nRegister for the webinar here.  \nWebinar Agenda\nThe webinar will offer a full review of essential privacy and security topics as well as information on how data privacy is handled in Clarity.
