Jesse Casement is the Chief Client Services Officer for Father Joe’s Villages. With nearly two decades of experience in human services, including a professional background with justice-involved youth and youth in foster care, Jesse emphasizes the importance of client empowerment and strengthening family and community networks.
At Father Joe’s Villages, Jesse leads a team of nearly 200 client-care professionals whose impact spans across the Client Services Division, which consists of programs like street outreach and diversion, 24/7 shelter supports and case management, employment and education services, licensed therapeutic childcare, crisis response, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing.
Jesse is credited with championing the view that shelters should welcome pets along with their humans – a policy change that, for many neighbors in need, has been the difference between accepting a shelter bed and the comprehensive services that come with it or turning down the bed to stay with their beloved pet. Jesse has fostered relationships with local animal welfare organizations and veterinary providers in order to bring resources, education, and support to the clients experiencing homelessness with their animals, as well as to the Father Joe’s Villages staff who strive to create a welcoming and safe environment for all people living in shelter, including those with animal companions.
Jesse holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Abilene Christian University, which has heavily influenced her approach to program design, advocacy, and collaboration.
