Zee King

Zee King is a San Diego native, community advocate, and Senior Program Manager with Blue Shield of California. As a former foster youth who has experienced homelessness, Zee brings both personal and professional experience to their work in housing, healthcare, and homelessness services.

In their current role, Zee works on Coordinated Entry Systems, housing-related Medi-Cal initiatives, and collaboration with community providers and regional partners. Their background includes Enhanced Care Management, CalAIM Community Supports, supportive housing, and direct services throughout San Diego County.

Zee serves on the Regional Task Force on Homelessness Continuum of Care Board and as Co-Chair of the Lived Experience Subcommittee, where they advocate for people with lived experience to have a meaningful role in decisions that affect their communities. They also serve on the San Marcos Community Foundation Board, supporting local organizations and community programs.

Zee holds a Certificate of Achievement in Social Work from Palomar College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at California State University San Marcos. They are committed to improving how systems work together and making sure the people most affected by homelessness have a voice in shaping solutions.
