Diversion 101 is a training for those who need a brief overview of diversion concepts, but will not be practicing diversion with clients. Topics covered include resiliency theory, the steps of a diversion conversation, listening skills, and outcomes, framed in our local context of practicing diversion from the streets. Space is limited. Additional sessions will be offered moving forward.

*Those that will be practicing diversion with clients should attend 2-day diversion training and do not need to attend Diversion 101. Those that have already attended 2-day training do not need Diversion 101.

PARKING INFORMATION:

There is designated parking for United Way visitors in the front of the building, and around the left side and rear of the building (other than reserved spaces), as well as street/curbside parking. Please do not park in the neighboring All State building’s parking lot (address 4669 Murphy Canyon Rd). Carpooling is highly encouraged.
