RTFH is committed to doing everything possible to keep people who are experiencing homelessness safe, as well as those of us who work and volunteer each year conducting the Point-in-Time Count. The Continuum of Care’s Advisory Board approved RTFH’s proposal to submit a request to HUD and it was approved by HUD to move the date of the 2022 Point-in-Time Count from January 27th to February 24th.
Volunteers will now report to their deployment sites on Thursday, February 24th at 3:45 a.m. and conduct the Count until 8:00 a.m. Your deployment site has not changed, and the new mobile app will still be used to document engagements with people experiencing homelessness on the morning of February 24th. We will be providing N95 masks for all of the Count sites to increase the protection of our volunteers and homeless participants as we engage with them that morning.
We appreciate the continued support of the community of the WeAllCount and want our volunteers to feel safe, and to protect against the spread of the virus through the homeless community.
