The CoC is soliciting applications for CoC Board seats that will be expiring for the 2024-2026 term. If you are interested in serving on the CoC Board, please submit an Application  by March 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to Susan Bower at susan.bower@rtfhsd.org. Questions may be submitted via e-mail to the same address. Specifically, the following seats will be opening for people interested in being considered for service on the CoC Board:

5 Flexible Seats

2 Designated Seats:

  • Person with Lived Experience as Currently or Formerly Homeless
  • CDBG Consolidated Plan Jurisdiction

4 Homeless Service Provider Seats:

  • Homeless Service Provider: General
  • Homeless Service Provider: Central
  • Homeless Service Provider: N. Coastal
  • Homeless Service Provider: South

Please note there is a new question on the application that invites people with lived or living experience of homelessness, to tell us a little more about your experience(s). While answering the question is optional, this information is important as the CoC seeks to understand the overall diversity of our Board, including those with lived or living experience of homelessness. Additionally, the CoC is required to report on the diversity of our Board in our Collaborative Application to HUD and other state and philanthropic funding opportunities. We also understand and respect your decision not to share.

Examples of the type of information that would be helpful include:

  • The type of homelessness you experienced (such as unsheltered, vehicular, etc.),
  • Any particular populations you feel describe you (such as people who have experienced chronic homelessness, older adults, youth, veterans, women, families, etc.)
