The Continuum of Care (CoC) Board operates as an unincorporated association, while the RTFH supports the CoC Board as a separate legal entity, serving as the HUD Collaborative Applicant, and the Administrative Entity for all funding related to the HEARTH Act.
The CoC Board of Directors is selected through an inclusive process involving both the Board and the CoC General Membership. Board members represent a diverse range of professional expertise, lived experience, and community perspectives that support the Board’s leadership and responsibilities.
The CoC Board strives to reflect the diversity of the communities and stakeholders it serves by including individuals with varied geographic, racial, ethnic, social, economic, business, and cultural backgrounds. The Board also seeks to maintain balanced representation across age and gender and includes at least two individuals who are currently or formerly homeless.
